Hey everybody! Anyone who lives in the Tampa area or just likes Tampa is invited, or you just want to read the bible, is invited to my lifegroup. I am still pretty new to the church and I am excited to get to know more people and study Jesus together.
I live in the USF area (near I75). We are going to meet Sunday nights at 7pm. Please know that this is not going to be telling you what to think about the Bible or Jesus but rather a time where we can struggle together and learn what the Lord has…

God is truly amazing beyond words. During my reading today these few verses just stuck out to me like sore thumbs. It's amazing and shocking to think that nothing we do is hidden from God. It sorta makes you question some of the things you are doing in your life, or the things you think you are "getting away with" because no one knows. It says in
Jeremiah 16:17 For my eyes are on all their ways; there is no cover for them from my face, and their evil-doing is not kept secret from my ey…

What ever happened to simplicity? Its a discipline of the spiritual life that can get lost so fast in this real time world, whether it be myspace, facebook, twitter or whatever else is out there now. Simplicity eliminates that which detracts from our ability to seek first the Kingdom of God, and keeps us focused, centered, and prioritized. In this day and age, that should not be underestimated.
Would Jesus twitter??
I dunno, I have no idea but its kinda fun to think about isn't it??? Do you th…

Greetings,
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. One of the clips that holds the back of the screen on has come undone. Does anyone have experience fixing this? I think it will need a new back screen cover.
Gracias!
Hope to see you on Sunday at 3:15pm for the Wimauma outreach.

It is pretty amazing that all we have to do is be willing vessels and the God who created the universe, and all that is in it, comes down and fills us up. How small am I to be used by someone so big and powerful? Who am I that He would love me soo much even though sometimes that love does not get returned? Oh how He loves us with the love of a father. He embraces us like a mother shielding her children from harm. Moreover, He is our accountability partner, and the friend that we can share our th…

It's been six months since I moved to NC and I am missing my church like crazy. I have never been to a church that I liked as much as The Crossing. ....Greg Dumas, Burnard Scott, my friends, Surge, the music and the sermon, and the whole style and atmosphere at The Crossing cannot be matched. I am so homesick :(

I got an update today from my friend Julia. The doctors are suspecting a diagnosis of Biliary Atresia (feel free to google it). Larra went in today for exploratory surgery and for the doctors to take a liver biopsy in order to properly diagnose. Julia said Larra has been taking it all pretty well until today when they couldn't feed her for 4-6 hours. So much to take for a 3 month old baby. :( Please keep them in your prayers.

Hello everyone. I have a huge prayer request concerning my friend Julia, her husband Nick, and their 3-month old baby Larra...who all just moved back home to Michigan. When Larra was first born, she was jaundiced, and the jaundice hasn't gone away. Apparently the doctors in Michigan were concerned and Larra is now in the hospital, so that they can run a battery of tests. So far they're not 100% sure what all is going on. Blood work looked good from the standpoint that there was nothing to indica…

Greetings amigos!
As many of you know, missions trips are a big part of my heart and life vision. Every summer since I was a teenager i've tried to go on at least one trip a year. These trips have not only deepened my faith, but have also given me an opportunity to see life outside the comfort of my country. One can't help but be changed when they see the vibrant Christian faith that believers in less developed nations have. For them, a "recession" is a fact of life and just another reminder on…
